Special Education Teacher (7-12)
Greenland School District is seeking a passionate, qualified Special Education Teacher to join our supportive team for the 2025–2026 academic year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering instruction tailored to meet the needs of students with diverse learning needs in a resource or inclusion setting (Grades 7-12).
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal regulations

Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet student needs

Provide direct instruction in academic, behavioral, and functional skills
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers

Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress reports
-
Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and parent conferences
-
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)

Valid Arkansas teaching license with a Special Education endorsement (codes 230, 231, or 246) or willing to add it

Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Knowledge of IEP writing and implementation
